Job Vacancies at RWA Consulting
RWA Consulting is seeking a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Wendover. With 31 years of experience and a reputation for providing innovative design solutions and excellent customer care, we are looking to expand and need high-quality engineers to complement our existing team.
RWA works on a diverse range of private, public, and commercial projects, mainly across the southeast of England, with key clients throughout Great Britain. We have established strong relationships with local architects, business professionals, and public sector clients, and our prominent online presence reflects our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your own projects with support from senior engineers and management.
- Perform forensic building defect surveys and report writing.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Support business generation efforts and build client relationships.
- Uphold the practice’s reputation for accuracy, clear thinking, and innovative design.
Ideal Candidate:
- Several years of experience working within a small to medium-sized practice, advancing to a senior level.
- Strong experience in design and forensic building defect surveys.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients, with a track record of business development.
- Self-motivated, confident, and driven to succeed.
- A team player with the ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.
- Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
Career Development: For those demonstrating exceptional performance, there is the potential to progress to an Associate Director role, with responsibilities including mentoring graduate engineers and assisting the Directors with the practice’s operations. There may also be opportunities for advancement to a full Director position for the right candidate.
